This jig is used for “quick & dirty” resharpening, and is particularly useful for pocket knives with small blades. The jig is held on your machine's universal support bar (red part), and can be used in the vertical or horizontal position to sharpen your knife against a grinding wheel (green part). The wedge (blue part) is 3D-printed. It is designed to fit flushly against the sides of the respective grindwheel, enabling the sharpener to get the blade flush to either side of the grinding wheel, whilst keeping the knife’s body from getting in the way. Please specify which size you need.
A 12° setup block (yellow part; also 3D-printed) is available separately. 12° is a sharpening edge angle I often use. The Tormek AngleMaster (WM-200) could also be used to set the angle.
