Notes:
- This jig is comprised of two (or more) parts:
- A sleeve (shown in blue, and rotated 90°), which is similar to the one used on the Tormek SVD-18x jigs. If you have an SVD-180/185/186 Gouge Jig, this is not needed.
This part is 3D-printed.
- One or more tool holders (shown in metalic). There are 4 sizes; you will need to get as many as you need. 1/8” and 3/16” are very common sizes of rods used in cutting frames.
These tool holders can be held in the sleeve shown, or in the SVD-185/186 Gouge Jig (in lieu of the Round Cutter Holder #2 shown in the Sharpening Handbook).
These parts are made of metal and turned on a lathe.
