In 2007, Jon Magill designed a Rose Engine lathe built from a half (1/2) sheet of MDF. That machine's spindle is solid with 1-8 threads.
This spindle is designed for the MDF Rose Engine Lathe 2.0, but can also be used on the current MDF Rose Engine Lathes.
The spindle's nose has a #2 morse taper, and comes with an adapter for either 1"-8 or 11/4"-8, along with a draw bar. Select the adapter that fits your chuck.
